Mumbai: The upcoming film ‘Shin Chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India’ is set to premiere its India at the Japanese Film Festival on 14 September 2025.
The film takes Shin Chan and his friends to India, “Nation of Dance” to participate in a vibrant entertainment festival. They enjoy their first experiences in India, try local dishes such as chapati and greet everyone with a cheerful “Namaste”.
Director Masakazu Hashimoto said, “It is difficult to believe that almost two years have passed when I have visited India for the first time for location scouting. Incredible places, the amazing people I met, and I felt all the feelings that Shin Chan: Shiin Chan: Spicy Kasukabe dancers have been inspired. It has been done, coming to India.

He further mentioned, “I want to thank all those who have tirelessly tried to make the Indian release possible, and for all the fans of India who are eagerly waiting. I am excited that we will soon see you laughing, smile, and all the enthusiasm of Shin Chan. This release gives me a great opportunity to see everyone.
The film is against India’s colorful background, and it promises the biggest dance entertainment of this year, laughter, enthusiasm and heartbreaking moments.

The film is produced by Shin-EI Animation, TV Asahi, ADK Emotions and Futbasha, with Animation Production by Shin-EI Animation. Directed by Masakazu Hashimoto. It will be released on Friday, September 26, 2025 across India across India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
