Mumbai: National Award -winning filmmaker Shujit Sirkar said that he had never seen Irrfan Khan in Piku, saying that late -acclaimed actor’s performance in the film showed the actual and soothing side of the star.
How did Irfan balance humor with emotional depth in his role? Was it something that he brought to the table easily?
Shujit told IANS: “Okay, I would say it is absolutely natural. He brings it to that freshness. In Picu, he seemed like that, I don’t know, I don’t know, there is something so beautiful that he looked so attractive, so attractive, so hot irfan. I have not seen such Irfran in any film that I have seen.”
The filmmaker said that the real side of the late star came out in Piku, which is ready to complete 10 years in Hindi cinema on 8 May.

“Piku” is scheduled for re -release on 9 May. Comedy drama, which is set for watch 10 years after release, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan as well as Mausumi Chatterjee, Jishu Sengupta and Raghubir Yadav.
