Mumbai: Actress Ananya Panday performed ‘Shravan Somvar’ puja and gave her fans a glimpse of it. The ‘Dream Girl 2’ actress posted pictures on Instagram and wrote, “Shravan Somvar”
In the picture, Ananya is seen smiling with folded hands sitting near the puja arrangement. She is wearing a blue and white co-ord dress and has tied her hair in a bun.
In another picture, the Shivling can be seen placed on a small stool decorated with flowers. As soon as she posted the post, netizens bombarded the comments section.
A user wrote, “You are the sweetest and cutest princess.” Another fan commented, “My favourite @ananyapanday queen”. Her mother Bhavana Pandey also posted pictures on Instagram, in which she can be seen posing with Shiv Pooja.
Along with the post, he wrote, “Om Namah Shivay Prem Shanti #ShravanSomavar.”
Ananya often shares photos on social media and keeps her fans updated about her personal and professional life.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya will be seen in the web series ‘Call Me Bae’. The show is based on the story of a billionaire fashionista who is abandoned by her family after a scam and then her journey to freedom.
Earlier in May, the makers shared a new poster of the series on Instagram, announcing that it will start streaming from September 6.
With the cast led by Ananya as Bela Baa Choudhary, the series also stars actors Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskaan Jaffrey, Niharica Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and presented by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra as executive producers, the series sees Ananya making her OTT debut.
Written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair and directed by Collin D’Cunha, ‘Call Me Bae’ is the story of Bae, who goes from being an heiress to a conman, and realises that her most valuable asset is not her diamonds but her smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, bettering her boyfriend, sisters and herself.
Ananya is also prepping for her upcoming film ‘CTRL’, which will release on Netflix on October 4.
He also has ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’. However, an official announcement about the project is still awaited. (ANI)
