New Delhi: Shriya Pilgaonkar is currently making headlines for her amazing character in the latest web chain Mandla murders. This striking visual change is already receiving widespread appreciation from both audience and critics. In the latest release of Netflix, she appears in an expanded cameo as Rukmini, the esoter of a mysterious creed.

Talking about her character Rukmini’s fierce appearance, Shriya shared, ‘I like to search for different looks for the characters I play, and Rukmini in Mandla Murdors is actually opposite someone I have painted before – how she looks and who she is. He is frightening, magnetic and full of fire.
Sharing more information about bringing Rukmini into life, Pilgaonkar further shared, “To bring out his mysterious, almost other energy, we went for a very maximum attitude with style -rich fabric, bold jewelery, deep maroon and antique gold.”
Rukmini takes out a goddess -like aura, adding grace to her otherwise intense and intimidated appearance with a softened rose details. His look from ornate headpiece to ceremonial drapes was carefully prepared to reflect this striking duality.
Shriya believes that Rukmini is one of her most blind striking roles and is grateful to the love that is receiving. She credits the show’s producer, Gopi sir, and talented styling and hair-makeup team to bring this unforgettable form to life.
It also marks Pilgaonkar’s second cooperation with Yash Raj Films (YRF), as he made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with his production ‘Fan’, including Shah Rukh Khan.
