I was honestly thinking of making something else before crossing my path with Yash Raj Films, who was looking for a young love story and was pressing Ahan and Annit to act in this type of film.
He said, “Nobody expects new people that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will have a level of acting, but they need to be an actor who are making their own grip on the screen. I did not come in debut with acting caliber, I did not get the youth in the young crop and I left the idea of making this script with debut.”
