Actress Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma Bridgertonsays he hopes he and co-star Jonathan Bailey will get the opportunity to return for a fourth season of the popular Netflix series.
In the third season of the period drama, Ashley and Bailey reprised their characters Kate and Viscount Anthony Bridgerton. Kate and Anthony, who are now married and about to welcome their first child, were at the center of this season. Bridgerton Season two.
“I really hope that happens,” Ashley said about reprising their roles for a fourth season. “Johnny and I both love our characters, Kate and Anthony, so much, their relationship and their importance to the show. I think we’ll do everything we can to make it work with our schedules, so we can hopefully do that,” she told People magazine.
At the end of Bridgerton In season three, Kate and Anthony were shown talking about moving from London to their native India to welcome the baby. The first part of the third installment of the series premiered on May 16, followed by its second part on June 13.

The latest season of Bridgerton The series follows the friends-turned-lovers journey of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, played by Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton. It also stars Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Hannah Dodd, Jessica Madsen, Martins Imhangbe, Emma Naomi, and Daniel Francis.
