After completing a main schedule of ‘Singham Again’ in Kashmir, actor Ajay Devgn expressed his gratitude to the authorities and locals of the valley for the cooperation provided to the team in conducting the film’s shoot smoothly.
In a special video, Ajay said, “Thank you so much Kashmir Film Authority for a wonderful shoot and so much support… It’s a beautiful place. We want to keep coming here. Thank you”
Earlier in the day, director Rohit Shetty shared pictures of actor Ajay from the sets in Kashmir and wrote, “Schedule completed! Thank you, Kashmir.”
In this film, Ajay Devgn will be seen in the role of Bajirao Singham. Giving a glimpse of his look in the third installment, Rohit Shetty further wrote, “Bajirao Singham! SSP (SOG) Special Operation Group Jammu and Kashmir Police… Singham again… coming soon”
During the shooting, Ajay and Rohit also met the soldiers of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Singham Again’ also stars Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
‘Singham Again’ is the third installment of the superhit franchise. ‘Singham’ was released in 2011, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in the lead roles, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014. Both the projects were declared hits at the box office.
Recently, actor Jackie Shroff, who plays a pivotal role in the film, expressed his gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir government for its unwavering support to the film industry professionals who visit the Union Territory to shoot films and other projects.
Jackie praised the hospitality and seamless cooperation he received during his stay in Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “The people here are incredibly helpful and kind, and the administration is also very cooperative.”
He said, “Just like this place is beautiful, your people are also beautiful. It was so much fun. You have handled a lot. And the film support, the police support, the army support, the people’s support, everyone’s support. And it was nice to see so many tourists. Everyone enjoyed it. The people here also enjoyed it. We enjoyed it the most. We love you so much.”
‘Singham Again’ will release in theatres in August 2024 on the occasion of Independence Day.
