New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s much awaited film Sitare Zameen Paar has continued his impressive run at the box office, which is entering its second week with strong speeds. On 8 days (Friday), the film collected Rs 6.67 crore (All-India Net), took its total earnings up to Rs 95.23 crore to a remarkable of Rs, which was close to a mark of Rs 100 crore.
As a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, acclaimed by reviewers of 2007, this emotional drama has hit a raga with both the audience and critics. With its powerful story, hearty performance and emotional depth, the film has produced widespread praise and constant legs in theaters across the country.
While starring Aamir Khan with Genelia Deshmukh and ten debutant child actors, the film tells an uplift story that blends inspiration with realism. Directed by RS Prasanna, the fame of Shub Mangal Savadhan, and produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner, the film also has an emotional soundtrack composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Law with songs by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divya Nidhi Sharma.
The ten Rising stars shown in the film include Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahni, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshk.
Global praise and special screening
As the film continues to love worldwide, Aamir Khan recently hosted a special screening for the representatives of the United Nations and foreign diplomats in New Delhi. Among the prestigious guests, Christina Ananana (first secretary of the Russian Embassy), Katrina Visar (Austrian Ambassador), Dr. Shashi Tharoor (Member of Parliament), and Ajay Bijli (Founder of PVR Inox) included. Aamir was seen warmly interacting with the people, depicting the film’s growing international resonance.
Earlier in the week, Aamir also held a special screening for President Drupadi Murmu for President Drupadi Murmu. The President praised the film and its actors, giving his best wishes to the entire team. In a hearty response, the team said that the team expressed its gratitude:
