New Delhi: Sitare is winning heart across the country across the country, which is emerging as one of the most beloved films of the year. Serving the 2007 hit star as a spiritual sequel for the cross cross, the film is not only widely appreciated, but is also showing impressive growth at the box office, with a mark of Rs 200 crore to reach the second weekend itself.
In India, the film has collected Rs 14.55 crore on its second Sunday and earned an estimated Bharat Net of Rs 122.65 crore in its first 10 days.
To celebrate the unprecedented success of the film, Aamir Khan hosted a lively success party in his office, bringing the young stars of the film together, known as “Sitare”. The atmosphere was filled with joy, as artists, including Aamir Khan, danced and celebrated the milestone.

Aamir Khan Productions proudly introduced the film’s ten Rising stars: Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shehani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mishra. The film is directed by RS Prasanna, known for the acclaimed Shub Mangal Savadhan, which marks a significant cooperation with Aamir Khan Productions.
Built under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Sitare Zamin Paar has provided Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles with young artists.
Earlier, Aamir Khan had hosted a special screening of the film for President Draupadi Murmu, which was in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Shortly after, the President shared a picture with Aamir Khan on social media.
Music composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Lo-Law is complemented by songs by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divya Rahe Sharma, while Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit, B. Srinivasa Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka are included. The film was released in theaters on June 20, 2025 and continues to capture the imagination of the audience.
