Sitaare zameen par box office collection: Aamir Khan’s much awaited cinematic return ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ hit a strong raga at the box office. According to Sacnilk.com data, the RS Prasanna director has now crossed the ₹ 70 crore mark domestic after three years, marking the superstar’s return after three years.
On its fifth day in theaters, emotional sports drama earned the lowest single-day of Crore 6.05 crore in its collection. The film had a respectable inauguration of ₹ 10.7 crore on Friday, collected ₹ 19.90 crore on Saturday and the collection reached the peak with ₹ 27.25 crore on Sunday. While on Monday, the ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ still conducted a firm with 8.5 crores, which led to its total India collection to ₹ 74.23 crore.
With this, the film has officially overtaken Aamir’s last release, ahead of the domestic lifetime collection of ‘Lal Singh Chafdha’, which wrapped his dramatic run in India for ₹ 61.36 crore.
Aamir’s Surprise Theater Visit
Earlier this week, Aamir pleased fans with an undeclared trip for a theater post-screening. In a video shared by the manufacturers, the actor is seen interacting with the audience. “Kasi lagi film (how did you like the film)?” He asked, in which a fan replied, “Aamir is proud of you. You have done a great job.”
He also introduced director RS Prasanna and members of the leading crew, in which hearty gratitude was expressed: “Thank you very much for the love you are giving. We really appreciate and we have really touched.”

On Tuesday, Aamir Khan hosted a special screening of ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan for President Draupadi Murmu.
