Biographical action drama starring actor Sivakarthikeyan AmaranThe release date of ‘Dangal’ directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy has been decided. The makers of the film shared this news on social media.
Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, which is producing the film, has announced that Amaran will hit theatres on October 31, coinciding with Deepavali.
Amaran Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of late Indian Army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan, who led the Indian Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles Cheetah Company. Major Mukund was martyred fighting terrorists in Shopian, Kashmir in April 2014. He was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, the country’s highest peacetime gallantry award.
Amaran Sai Pallavi plays the lead female character. The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography by CH Sai and editing by Kalaivanan.
The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Sony Pictures Films India and R Mahendran.
