Jio Studios and Maddock Films have officially released the much-awaited trailer sky forceIt is set to premiere on 24 January 2025, during the Republic Day week.
This patriotic thriller promises an exciting mix of intense dogfights, emotionally powerful moments and a gripping story centered on one of India’s most daring military operations.
It stars debutant Veer Pahadia in the lead role along with Akshay Kumar. sky force It takes an exciting look at one of India’s first and deadliest air strikes on Pakistan.

The trailer sets the tone for a captivating journey filled with courageous soldiers, heart-wrenching sacrifices and a deep sense of patriotism.
Directed by Sandeep Kewalani and Abhishek Kapoor, sky force Follows the journey of an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, played by Akshay Kumar, who sets out on a mission of vengeance after several Indian soldiers are killed.
As tensions rise, Akshay’s character challenges the status quo, urging his superiors to take action and launching the country’s first air strike in retaliation. In a poignant dialogue, he says, “Doosra gaal neta dikhta hain, hum fauji nahi,” (Another cheek has been raised by political leaders, not soldiers).
Making his film debut, Veer Pahriya plays the role of another Indian Air Force officer who teams up with Akshay’s character to lead the mission.
As the operation progresses, Veer’s plane is shot down, and he is later reported “missing in action”.
The emotional significance of the mission is further explored through the character of Sara Ali Khan, who plays Veer’s wife, who anxiously awaits news about her husband’s fate.
Actress Nimrat Kaur also plays an important role in the film.
