Shobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got married in a traditional ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Wedding pictures and videos are already viral on social media. Family members and friends of Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya have been sharing pictures on their respective social media profiles. Meanwhile, an unseen picture of their wedding has surfaced online. In the picture, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala can be seen posing in front of the statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who founded Annapurna Studios. The couple can be seen wearing matching traditional attire. Shobhita wore a golden Kanjivaram silk saree at the wedding. On another occasion, she wore a white saree with a red border. She completed her bridal look with heavy temple jewellery.
Guests who attended the high-profile wedding included directors Anurag Kashyap, SS Rajamouli. Shobhita made her Hindi debut with Anurag Kashyap’s thriller Raman Raghav 2.0.
Like, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s engagement announcement, Nagarjuna shared the first official pictures of the wedding on social media last night. Welcoming daughter-in-law Shobhita to the family, the superstar wrote, “It has been a special and emotional moment for me to see Shobhita and Chai start this beautiful chapter together. Congratulations my darling Chai, and welcome to the family dear Shobhita-Yours ‘We have already brought a lot of happiness in our lives.’
Referring to the heritage of the wedding venue, Nagarjuna wrote, “The celebration holds an even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of the statue of ANR garu, installed to mark his centenary. It seems as if His love and guidance has been with us at every step of this journey. I gratefully acknowledge the innumerable blessings showered upon us today.”
The pre-wedding celebrations of Shobhita and Naga Chaitanya started last week. First, they celebrated Mangalasnanam and Haldi ceremony, followed by Pelli Kuthuru (equivalent to bridal bath) ceremony. The couple got engaged in August. Naga Chaitanya’s first marriage was to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
