Hyderabad: Actors Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala got married at the prestigious Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Many celebrities turned out to congratulate the couple on the much-awaited wedding. Actor Rana Daggubati was also among them.
‘Bahubali’ star Rana Daggubati was all smiles as he met his cousin Naga Chaitanya on his big day. He shared a picture of the couple bowing to seek blessings from their families.
Taking to Instagram, the ‘Ghazi Attack’ actor posted a picture in which Naga Chaitanya is seen in a yellow kurta, while he is wearing a white kurta teamed with a floral-printed shawl and sunglasses.
“Pellicodudu” penned by Rana Daggubati roughly translates to ‘groom’.
Re-sharing Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s wedding pictures on his story, the actor congratulated the couple and wrote, “Congratulations to both of them” along with two heart emojis.
Earlier, Naga Chaitanya’s father and veteran star Nagarjuna Akkineni had shared mesmerizing pictures of Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita from their dreamy wedding ceremony on his official X account.
The wedding, held during the auspicious time of 8:13 pm, was a spectacular display of Telugu traditions, with rituals performed under the guidance of elders. The festive atmosphere was enriched with the heartfelt blessings of family and friends who had gathered to witness this important moment.
For the special occasion, Sobhita chose a gold Kanjeevaram silk saree with real gold brocade, honoring her cultural roots. She further enhanced her look with temple jewellery. Chai also looked beautiful in the traditional white dress.
Naga Chaitanya’s first marriage was to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They announced their separation on social media in a joint statement in October 2021.
The ‘Dhootha’ actor confirmed his relationship with Shobhita Dhulipala by sharing pictures from their engagement ceremony in August this year.
