Mumbai: The new bride in town, Sonakshi Sinha, has shared a new selfie with husband Zaheer Iqbal. On Wednesday, Sonakshi shared a new picture of herself and Zaheer, with which she also wrote a funny caption.
Dressed in casual outfits, Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen posing for a selfie. She captioned the post, “It feels different to post normal posts instead of ‘close friends’ like the last 7 years.”
On Tuesday, Zaheer shared some adorable pictures from his lunch date.
He posted a video on Instagram Stories, in which Sonakshi can be seen laughing while eating food. Along with the pictures, Zaheer also wrote a caption, “She wanted to shout at me, but I made her laugh. #IYKYK.”
The ‘Hiramandi’ actress also took to her Instagram stories to repost the video and captioned it, “Guts.”
The couple also shared a mirror selfie and wrote, “What a beautiful day.” Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 at their home in Mumbai in the presence of their loved ones. It was a private wedding.
After the civil wedding, a wedding ceremony was held at Bastian which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities.
The reception was attended by several Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur and veteran actress Saira Banu, who came to congratulate the couple and celebrate their union.
Sonakshi and Zaheer, who have been together for seven years, expressed their love in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.
The couple recently shared glimpses of their wedding on social media and have the day of June 23 etched in their hearts forever.
Sonakshi expressed her happiness in a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on their love and journey together. “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and victories… to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods… we are now husband and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all the beautiful things with each other, from now till forever. Sonakshi Zaheer 23.06.2024,” Sonakshi wrote while announcing her marriage to Zaheer.
Sonakshi and Zaheer dated each other for seven years and then took their relationship forward. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonakshi will be seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s directorial ‘Kakuda’, which will release on July 12 on Zee5.
The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
