Mumbai: Sonam Bajwa, who has been a heartbreak after seeing the current situation in Punjab amidst the ongoing floods in the state, has expressed her grief.
However, ‘Sardarji 2’ actress hopes that Punjab will cross this latest crisis with its permanent sense of unity and flexibility.
Leaving some photographs of the waterfall areas of Punjab, Bajwa wrote on the photo-sharing app: “In these difficult times, my heart leaves for Punjab and floods affected by floods. Images and stories coming from there are really going to break the heart, but I hope that there is a feeling of unity and strictness that Punjab has always shown.”

The ‘Ardab Mutiaran’ actress revealed that she is helping people affected by working actively working as rescue teams. While urging others to do so, Bajwa said: “I am doing my share to help the organizations working actively as rescue teams to work, and I politely urge you to urge yourself. Every contribution to your urge. Every contribution, no difference that can make any difference in someone’s life. Let’s come together and stand on this cross by Punjab.
Earlier, “Nikka Zeldar 4”, the producer of the much awaited sequel of Bajwa and Ammi Virk, decided to pursue the film’s release amid the Punjab flood. Originally slated to release in the cinema hall on 12 September, the drama will now be out on 21 October.
Additionally, Virk also supported the people affected by the Punjab floods.
The ‘Quzmat’ actor has decided to adopt 200 houses, who have lost everything in these destructive floods.
“Our hearts have pain in view of the destruction of the noise. I have been destroyed by seeing our people without a roof. In our small attempt to bring comfort and stability, we are adopting 200 houses to support those who have lost everything. It is not about the shelter, hope that we can all meet together.
