Mumbai: After a cedar was filed against him for adding a Kannada song demand for the horrific Pahgam attack of the Kannada song, singer Sonu Nigam shared an open letter, claiming that he has a lot of love for Kannada language.
Taking his IG, ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ singer wrote, “I have given unprecedented love to language, culture, music, musicians, state, and people, and people are not only in Karnataka when I am in Karnataka, but anywhere in the world, my Kannada songs are more than my songs. I prepare for every concert in Karnataka.
“However, Sonu Nigam said that he is not in the mood to be humiliated by anyone in any way, especially as his son. The singer said that he tried to calm the people, making sure that the performance had started and was an exciting song list for him.” He said, “His own people were asking them to close them. I told them very politely and lovingly that the show has just started, this is my first song, and I will not disappoint them, but they will have to continue the way I continue with the concert that I have planned.

“An displeasure with his remarks, an FIR was filed by various Kannada organizations in the Alahlalli police in Bengaluru. An FIR was lodged on the basis of a complaint filed by Dharmaraj A, President of Bangalore City District Unit of Karnataka Rakshan Vedic.
