Famous singer Sonu Nigam visited the Lord Kedarnath temple on Wednesday morning. He reached Shri Kedarnath Dham by helicopter at 7:15 am. (Also Read- Sonu Nigam, Ila Arun, Shankar Mahadevan react to Alka Yagnik’s hearing loss: ‘I knew something was not right’)
Nigam was given a grand welcome by the temple committee at the helipad where many fans had gathered to meet him. They posed for pictures with the famous singer. His family members also accompanied him for the Kedarnath darshan. Fans eagerly posed for more pictures with him while he was on his way to Shri Kedarnath Temple by helicopter.
Nigam along with other pilgrims performed puja outside the temple before entering the temple to worship Lord Shiva and perform Jalabhishek.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Nigam recently lent his voice to the devotional song Achyutham Keshavam. The makers of Maharaj starring Junaid Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari released a version of the song sung by Nigam.
Yash Raj Films posted the video of the song for fans on Instagram and captioned it, “#AchutamKeshavam song is out now!” The video features emotional scenes between Junaid Khan and Shalini Pandey.
Talking about his experience of creating the song, Sonu Nigam shared, “I have been fortunate to have a very beautiful relationship with Yash Raj Films, and I really value my personal equation with Yash ji. Anything associated with YRF is special to me. I am so glad that Achyutam Keshavam Maharaj is composed for Aamir’s son’s debut film and the song under the direction of my friend Sidharth Malhotra makes it even more memorable.”
Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, Maharaj stars Junaid Khan in his debut role. The film is based on true events from pre-independence India and depicts the courage of Karsandas Mulji, a social reformer who challenged the status quo in a landmark legal battle.
Critics and audiences have praised Maharaj’s story and powerful acting. The film is based on the journey of Karsandas Mulji, one of India’s greatest social reformers. It is a David vs Goliath story, depicting one man’s courage to stand up against the injustice of his time. Maharaj is currently streaming on Netflix India.
