New Delhi: Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly welcomed Bollywood stars Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapoor on Thursday at their Kolkata residence during their promotional tour for the upcoming film Metro … Dino. The actor was in a city of happiness to join fans and media before the film’s dramatic release on July 4, 2025.
The journey took a personal turn as Ganguly hosted the stars at his home, where he enjoyed a warm meal and shared clear moments. Photos from the gathering quickly surfaced online, showing trio in high spirits.
Ganguly also looked at the Metro trailer … dino, and increased his praise for director Anurag Basu for the emotional depth and storytelling of the film.
The film serves as a spiritual successor in Basu’s acclaimed 2007, which is a drama life in a metro and weaves four mutual love stories prescribed against the background of a movement urban landscape simultaneously.
The trailer released earlier this month discussed social media, in which fans have praised onscreen chemistry between Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Ali Fazal.

It marks the last chapter in Anurag Basu’s hyperlinked storytelling trillion, promising a more intensive emotional journey and reliable urban stories.
As part of the metro … in the dino promotional tour, Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapoor brought their signature attraction and chemistry to Bangalore, pleasing fans with both food and fun. Sara kicked the first phase of promotion with her trademark poetry, drawing in Aditya ficklely and installed a vibrant tone.
In a rear scenes shared by Sara on Instagram, co-stars were seen indulging in some Pak staples of the city, from the crisp dosa and juicy kebab to the hearty biryani. His light feast, shared laughter, and clear Camadari added a warm, reliable taste to the campaign, making the campaigner tour as pleasant as it was.
