Sitar Mestro Pandit Ravi Shankar’s life and heritage is alive through the biography of Gauri Ramnarayan, AttractionWhich premieres on 12 September at the Museum Theater in Chennai.

“Art is about learning, feeling and understanding all other humans, the world in which they live and understand their difficulties. The art includes compassion and generosity, and I think Pandit Ravi Shankar would have been happy if she knew that we were premiers of a biography drama on her, for a charitable reason,” She says.
Imagining the production of this theater, Gauri says, looking at Ravi Shankar as a human, and not only as a big-to-life music. “He was an extraordinary talent and was definitely the best starist who was produced by India, and played an important role in putting Indian music on the world map.
