Chennai: Even one of India’s most spectacular blockbusters ‘Bahubali The Beginning’ completed 10 magnificent years on Thursday, Franchise director, SS Rajamouli announced that he was to mark a milestone by releasing a two -foot joint film ‘Bahubali -D Epic’ on 31 October this year.
Taking his Instagram Stories section, SS Rajamouli wrote, “Bahubali. Many trips begin.
It can be remembered that only a few days ago, one of the film’s producers, Shobu Yarlagadda recalled how the moments of nervous and tens were erased before the film’s release.
Taking on his ex -timeline, Shobu Yarlagadda wrote, “In a few days, it will be 10 years old @baahubalimovie” The Beginning “Natya release! The manufacturer said, “I was looking back at some of the screenshots at that time and survived and brought back the floods of memories. Do you remember what you were thinking about #Baahubali at the time of the release of Part 1?”
He attached the tweets of the film critics, who praised the film after a press screening in Mumbai on 9 July. The producer also posted tweets of articles, predicting the film’s performance at the box office and craze for the film among the audience.
It can be remembered that Bahubali: The Beginning, the first of a two-part franchise directed by SS Rajamouli and actor Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah were released on 10 July 2015 in the lead. The film broke the box office records for a huge blockbuster.
The producer was Shobu Yarlagadda, in a tweet earlier, the first to leave the indication about the re-relief of the film in October this year. “I am thrilled to inform you all that we are planning to release an Indian and international re -release of @Baahubalimovie in October this year. It will not be just a re -release, it will be a year of celebration for our beloved fans! Hopefully with nostalgia, new disclosure, and some epic.
‘Bahubali 2’, the second installment of highly popular Bahubali franchise, was released in more than 9,000 screens worldwide in 2017.
The film, which was made on a grand budget of Rs 250 crore, rakes over the world at a distance of over 1800 crores, making the most grossing Indian film of all times. In terms of collection, there is also the distinction of being the first Indian film to cross a mark of Rs 1000 crore. By 2025, Bahubali 2 remains the highest -grossing film in India.
Apart from a loud global success at the box office, the film also received widespread important praise. It won awards at both national and international levels. The film, which won three National Awards – for Best Stunt Choreography, Best Special Impact and Best Popular Film that offers full entertainment – at the 65th National Film Awards, also won the Shani Award for Best International Film in 44th Shani Awards.
