Michelle Yeoh in ‘Star Trek: Section 31’
Teaser-Trailer Star Trek: Section 31The comic-con lineup, led by Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con.
Star Trek: Discovery The spin-off focuses on fan-favorite character Emperor Philippa Georgiou (Yeoh) as she joins Section 31, a covert division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets. During this time, Georgiou has to confront the ‘sins of her past,’ according to the official logline.
“You’re a bad bitch,” Yeoh’s character is told, to which she calmly replies: “Someone has to keep it lively!”
The film was initially considered as a series, but was given the green light by Paramount+ in January. It is written by Craig Sweeney and directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi (Star Trek: Discovery, The Man Who Fell to Earth,
Along with Yeoh, the film also stars Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Robert Kazinsky, Humberly Gonzalez, and James Hiroyuki Liao.
Paramount+ also recently released its first look teaser Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3.
