Washington: The streaming giant has released a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube, showcasing beloved characters and iconic sets, as production on the final season reaches its midpoint.
The video features the Hawkins kids, now more mature but still in character, offering a new perspective while keeping the old memories fresh.
Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays Eleven, commented on her evolution along with the series, saying, “I started when I was 10, now I’m turning 20. It feels very strange.”
Adding to the excitement, Noah Schnapp, famous for his role as Will Byers, expressed his excitement and predicted that season 5 will be the best season yet.
With production progressing steadily, the show’s creators the Duffer Brothers have confirmed that they are halfway through filming, and hope to wrap up by Christmas.
The final season is set to premiere in 2025.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Maya Hawke, who plays Robin, hinted at the ambitious scale of season 5, describing each of the eight episodes as “eight movies” due to their extensive length and elaborate storylines.
He emphasised the careful approach taken by show creators Matt and Ross Duffer and their dedication to maintaining high standards in writing and production.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, apart from the main cast, ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 will also feature new faces, including actors Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Breaux.
