New Delhi: It is not easy to be successful in Bollywood, but the one who succeeds does so on the basis of talent. And when it comes to talent, one name that comes to mind from the industry is Rajkumar Rao. Rajkumar, who is currently the most successful actor in the industry, talked about his humble beginnings.
Recalling how his parents did not have money to pay his school fees. In his recent appearance on Raj Shamani’s chat show, Rajkummar spoke about his family life which has never been in the limelight.
Rajkummar recalls, “I grew up in a joint family, I have two elder siblings. I had a very humble beginning. I didn’t grow up with money, so financial stress was always there. It wasn’t like we were starving, but we were somehow managing to get by.”
Further explaining how his mother would ask her relatives for money for school books and other things, “For school books and tuition fees, she would sometimes ask our relatives for help. That’s how she brought us up. Over a period of two or three years the school teachers paid our fees because we were three and there was no money for school fees. They didn’t want us to be expelled from school, so they raised the money for us.”
Raj also revealed that his elder siblings were very good in studies. But he was very talented in extracurricular activities. “But I enjoyed extracurricular activities.” Raj’s latest release Stree 2 is creating a stir at the box office and has earned more than 400 crores so far.
