Mumbai: Shraddha Kapoor is being touted as the biggest female superstar right now as her film Stree 2 has crossed all leagues set by Jawaan and Pathan and has become the most successful film of this year. Stree 2 is creating history every day and the actress’ star power is only growing with it. Shraddha has even surpassed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become the most followed personality on Instagram. She is one of those actresses who has not worked with any of the Khans and yet she is ruling the box office like a queen.
Talking about not working with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan so far, Shraddha, in her recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra on a podcast as quoted by ANI, said, “Many a times you are offered a film, but if you feel the character is not exciting enough or the role does not challenge the artiste in you, you let go of that role. I am very clear about the kind of work I choose.” The actress hinted at getting many opportunities, but none showed her interest.
In the same interview she said, “I want to be a part of good films, interesting films with good stories, work with good directors and do good work. If all this results in an opportunity to work with good actors or big stars, then I will happily say yes to it.”
Shraddha Kapoor played the lead role in Stree 2 along with Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi. The film gave a tough competition to Akshay Kumar’s film Khel Khel Mein at the box office and outdid itself. Stree 2 has so far earned around Rs 401 crore globally and is unbeatable.
