Mumbai: To celebrate the success of ‘Stree 2’ at the box office, the team of the film hosted a party which was attended by lead actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
Party attendees Nimrat Kaur and Anaita Shroff Adajania shared glimpses of the success bash on their respective social media handles.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Anaita shared a series of pictures with Shraddha and others. She captioned the photo, “Out to celebrate the success of #stree2. Let’s cheer them on!! Congratulations to the team”
The film, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, clashed with ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ at the box office on August 15, but the film soon became the first choice of movie lovers and surpassed the other two films by a huge margin. Nimrat also shared inside pictures from the party and wrote that “it felt like a personal victory”.
She wrote, “Love bombing red alert.. #Stree2 has felt like a personal triumph from day 1, the first show I saw in a theatre. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​described the film’s performance as a “storm” or a “tsunami” that swept away everything in its path.

‘Stree 2’ directed by Amar Kaushik. Actor Varun Dhawan has done a special cameo in the film. ‘Stree’ was released in 2018 and was declared a hit. The sequel will release in theatres on August 15.
