New Delhi: Bollywood powerhouse Rajkummar Rao is back as Vicky in ‘Stree 2′, and his fans are delighted to see it. The teaser of the much-awaited film is out and it was released directly in cinemas along with Maddock Films’ recent release ‘Munjya’.
From the first frame itself, the makers have made it clear that the sequel is fun, scary and has all the elements to become the biggest blockbuster of the year. Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
A sequel to Stree (2018), the film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in lead roles. The film will release in theatres on 15 August 2024.
Rajkummar Rao has had a great year so far with two of his films releasing back-to-back. He played the role of a blind industrialist Srikanth Bola in his film ‘Srikant’ which received critical acclaim, while in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ he played the role of a cricketer turned coach.
The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Tripti Dimri for the first time in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. Apart from this, he also has some other interesting projects in the pipeline, which he will announce soon.
