New Delhi: The trailer of Bollywood powerhouse Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’ has finally been released. It looks like the makers have done wonders once again. ‘Stree 2’ remains the most awaited horror comedy of the year. The trailer gives a complete glimpse of what the audience can expect from this horror comedy, which sees Rajkummar reprising his role of ‘Vicky’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Ever since the trailer hit the internet, the audience is quite excited for the film which is set to hit theatres on August 15.
Stree 2 Trailer:
The trailer begins with Pankaj Tripathi’s character introducing the new threat ‘Sarkata’ to the people of Chanderi. Instead of “O Stree Kal Aana”, this time the people of Chanderi ask him for help. The trailer also shows Vicky’s love feelings for Shraddha. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen doing a cameo in the film with a dance number.
Sharing the trailer, Shraddha wrote, “Here’s the trailer! India’s most awaited gang Chanderi ka Naya Terror is back to fight! Get ready for the biggest horror-comedy film of the year. The trailer of Stree 2 is now out. The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024 #Stree2 #SarkateKaTerror.”
‘Stree’ released in 2018 and was declared a hit. The sequel will release in theatres in August this year. A phrase from the film ‘O Stree Kal Aana’ has been used repeatedly in memes. The music of the film also garnered a lot of attention with tracks like ‘Mili Milegi’ and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’. Amar Kaushik has directed both the parts.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, ‘Stree 2’ will release in theatres on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.
Apart from ‘Stree 2’, Rajkummar Rao will be seen sharing screen space with Tripathi Dimri for the first time in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
