‘Swarswapna’ maintains a balance between classical music and film music, making it more than just an entertainer. It is an experiment to encourage and habituate children to ‘Riyaz’ (practice music) at an early stage of life and to promote music.

His solo performances feature subtle, gradual unfolding of ragas with complex and interesting tala patterns. Swapna’s performances reflect an equal balance of tantrakari anga and gayaki anga, indicating her mastery of both styles of violin playing.
Video. Datar is teaching music and providing a platform to budding musicians to showcase their talent. The first is accomplished through ‘Parivar’ – a cultural center in Pune that provides training in music and various other allied services. While its main focus is on training young children in classical music, singing and dance (Bharatanatyam), it also organizes activities like ‘Wednesday Bhajan’, ‘Bhagavad Gita’ workshops and ‘Saptahas’ (spiritual and cultural conferences) for conservation and promotion. Also organizes. Indian culture. ‘Parivar’ has become a hub for international students of Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian culture.
The second is accomplished through ‘Swaswapn’, a music group that provides a platform for budding violinists to experience the intricacies and hard work that goes into live stage performance. ‘Swarswapna’ concerts include a mix of traditional Hindustani classical music and popular Hindi and Marathi film songs, all put together with interesting anecdotes. ‘Swarswapna’ has completed more than 85 performances in various Indian cities. The troupe recently went on its first international tour to Germany.
