Suniel Shetty calls for national unity after the Pahalgam attack

Sunil Shetty gave the message of national unity in view of Pahalgam attack

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty has given a message on national unity for the people of the country after a cowardly attack in Pahgam by terrorists last week.

The actor, who is waiting for the release of his upcoming film ‘Kesari Veer’, spoke with IANS, and gave fellow countrymen a call to unite, and placed the differences aside.

He equaled the message of the film as the current requirement from the citizens of the country as the film also relates to the attack under the leadership of the Tughlaq Empire, where the local people fought the attacking forces to protect the Somnath temple and Hindu faith.

Sunil told IANS, “In the end the message is very clear, that the country is above something else.

He further cited the example of the 26/11 attacks when armed Pakistani terrorists entered India’s economic engine, Mumbai through their coast, and ruled their people as open terror, before they were neutralized by the National Security Guard in a 3-day operation.

The actor told IANS, “This happened earlier, 26/11 also happened, but Mumbai raised a lot the next day, saluting all those who lose their lives, lose all the people in uniforms who have lost their lives. Now we are more vigilant. Now we are more aware. I think our film is also our film ‘Kesari Veer’.

Earlier, a video of Kashmir actor went viral on social media, urging the people of India to not turn their backs on Kashmir, and turn into a draw to support the economy through tourism.

According to the Economic Survey report of Jammu and Kashmir, the state saw an annual footfall of 3.26 crore tourists, which had tourism accounting for more than 18,000 crores.
