The city has been talked about since the sequel to ‘Hera Fari 3’ creed comedy franchise. However, the news of veteran actor Paresh Rawal’s moving away from the project shocked and disappointed the fans.
In a recent conversation with India today, actor Sunil Shetty expressed his mistrust on Paresh Rawal’s decision and revealed that even Akshay Kumar is unaware of the reasons behind the unexpected step.
“It’s absolutely shocking. I first thought of him about texting, and then I thought I would meet him and discuss it. I have not talked to anyone about it yet. Even Akshay is clear in such a way what happened,” Sunil said.
He called Vikas a crisis and told that the team had already started working on the film:
“We are in the middle of this film, and this is the biggest shock. We were about to start shooting next year – in fact, we had already started. We also shot a promo. It’s a big thing. It’s a big thing. It’s very shocking. I can’t make any meaning.”
Shetty also shared that her children, Athiya and Ahaan Shetty were among the first people to inform them:
“Both Athiya and Ahaan sent it to me within 15 minutes, asked, ‘Papa, what is this?” I was in the middle of the interview and thought, ‘Holy S ***.’
Paresh Rawal responded to getting out of rumors
After his confirmation that he took out of Hera Ferri 3, speculation suggests that the decision was due to creative differences or remuneration issues. However, Paresh Rawal addressed rumors in an interview with Mid-Day:
“I know it came as a blow for many people. The three of us made a great combination with Priyadarshan who directed us, but the fact that I chose because today I don’t feel a part of it.”
Heritage of Hera Fari
Hera Ferry Franchise began with Priyadarshan’s 2000 classic, with the prestigious trio – Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty. Known for her slap humor, memorable dialogues and trusted characters, the film quickly became a sect favorite. Its huge popularity led the release of PHIR Hera Farry in 2006, which was not acclaimed by reviewers, was a major box office success.
Since then, fans have eagerly awaited Hera Ferry 3. But recently the events around Paresh Rawal’s departure have put a shadow on the much -awaited project, many fans urged the manufacturers not to move forward without them.
