Mumbai: Actor Govinda’s wife Logggar Sunita Ahuja has released an explanation on her earlier statement about the new Bollywood star Ahaan Pandey.
Sunita spoke to the media during the Ganpati festival on Wednesday, and blamed the media for making her statement wrong.
Explaining his earlier statement, in which he said that his son Yashvardhan Ahuja will be even older, he told the media, “I didn’t say anything. I am very happy that Ahaan Pandey has made a name for himself. I have never said anything about him”.

He further mentioned, “I want all the children of the film industry to do well and Ahaan I am your big fan, I love you and I love Yash Raj Films very much. I did not say anything because my son is also going to be a hero. Spread these rumors”.
Earlier, during a conversation, Sunita had said that Yashvardhan is doing a better film than ‘Siara’.
Meanwhile, Sunita and Govinda on Wednesday laid all rumors to rest, when they came together to celebrate the Ganpati festival, and even interacted with the media.
The couple was seen in ethnicwear, and recently cleared the air around the dispute, which came to the public domain of Sunita’s divorce court documents.
Responding to the rumors, Sunita told the media, “You guys have come for Ganpati or controversy? Is the media not slapped on seeing us so closely? If there was something closed, there would not have been distances from us”.
Many guests were also seen at his house, including ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Paras Chhabra, who arrived for Ganpati Darshan. Govinda and Sunita have been married for more than three decades and are two children, Tina and Yashvardhan’s parents.
Earlier, Govinda’s manager rejected the news of the actor’s divorce from his wife Sunit. The actor’s manager Shashi Sinha spoke with IANS on Saturday, and said that there is no truth for the reports claiming that Sunita filed for divorce.
