A scene from the cult classic ‘Border’
Bollywood star Sunny Deol on Thursday announced the sequel of ‘Dabangg 3’. Limit on the 27th release anniversary of the 1997 blockbuster film.
According to the makers, the upcoming film is “India’s biggest war film” and will be directed by Anurag Singh, known for “Kesari” and the first two films in the “Jatt & Juliet” franchise.

Filmmaker J.P. Dutta, who LimitHe will serve as the producer of the sequel along with his daughter Nidhi Dutt through JP Films. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar will also produce the new film under the banner of T-Series.
Deol shared the teaser of its announcement Borderlands 2 on his official X page.
The actor wrote, “A soldier is coming again to fulfill his 27 year old promise. India’s biggest war film, #Border2. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta & Nidhi Dutta and directed by Anurag Singh #TCeries #JPFilms.”
Released on 13 June 1997. Limit The film was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. It starred Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry and Puneet Issar, along with supporting actors such as Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Rakhee, Pooja Bhatt and Sharbani Mukherjee.
One of the highest-grossing films of 1997, the film gained popularity due to its songs, which were written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Anu Malik. Songs like “Sandese Aate Hain”, “Ae Jaate Hue Lamhein” and “Mere Dushman, Mere Bhai” are still popular today.

Limit The film also won three National Film Awards: Best Film on National Integration, Best Lyricist for Akhtar, and Best Playback Singer (Male) for Hariharan (“My Enemy, My Brother”).
