Super Junior’s Heechul’s name linked to NCT members’ sex scandal
NCT’s troubles have only gotten worse, as what fans initially dismissed as a “witch hunt” has turned into a national controversy. New evidence is emerging, and more screenshots and photos are being posted. Initially, blurry photos allegedly showed Haechan and Johnny in a hotel room with three women. Now, one of the women involved has posted another photo, which was supposed to be kept confidential, but was leaked by a friend.

In the photo, she is seen drinking alcohol, where Super Junior’s Heechul also joined her. The caption reads, “Daeback! (Wow,) Heechul is here, LOL.”
Super Junior’s Heechul responds
On June 4, seeing the matter gaining momentum on social media, SM Entertainment’s senior K-pop idol Heechul responded to his alleged involvement in the NCT scandal. Heechul is known for being very social, and fans speculate that he may have a role in it. A screenshot surfaced when a fan directly asked him, “Heechul, what are you doing in Japan?”
The K-pop idol quickly denied the news, saying, “I’m keeping an eye on it anyway. I’m worried that I’ll cause an incident on Instagram again, so I’m talking to the company right now. I’m going to make a brief statement here so you guys don’t get worried or disappointed. I’ve never met any of the junior idols from our company other than work, nor have I eaten or had drinks with them. I don’t even have their contact numbers.”
However, it seems fans are skeptical, as his answer seems to indicate he was more focused on protecting the NCT members rather than admitting to drinking with girls. “If it wasn’t true, he wouldn’t have caused such a ruckus by calling people feminist bitches on Instagram, but seeing as how he’s talking to the company, it’s probably true LOL,” one fan commented. SM Entertainment denied
NCT’s Johnny and Haechan’s agency, SM Entertainment, recently released an official statement denying the recent sex scandal rumors and confirmed legal action against those who spread them. In a recent statement provided to K-media outlet, TenAsia, the agency said, “Currently, rumors of Johnny and Haechan being involved in prostitution, drugs, and other obscene content are being repeated and spread online. What’s up with NCT’s Johnny and Haechan?
On June 3, several photos were posted by the now-suspended Twitter account @kira_ceo_main, which fans reported. The account posted screenshots of the Japanese girls’ social media updates, including photos of hotel keys, a drinking table, and possibly an intimate gathering. There was also a screenshot of a conversation between Miu and a girl identified as Johnny, where they planned to meet. Interestingly, the date of the screenshots corresponds to NCT’s Japan tour. Miu was reportedly active in meeting celebrities and is said to be currently studying in Korea.
