The news was shared at the Comic Con event in San Diego.

Hugh Jackman

Actor Hugh Jackman had an emotional farewell in the James Mangold-directed Logan in 2017. He had repeatedly said that he would never return as one of the X-Men again. However, the actor reprised his role in Deadpool and Wolverine. “Deadpool and Wolverine coming back together. I swear to you, when I said I was done, I really thought I was done. But in my mind, ever since I saw Deadpool 1, I was like, ‘Those two characters together.’ I knew, I knew ever since I put the claws on, fans have wanted it, people talk about these two. So, it was always there, but I just knew,” Hugh told Fandango.

Chris Evans

Actor Chris Evans might return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to reports, the actor has signed on for Avengers: Secret Wars. For those who don’t know, Avengers: Endgame ended with Steve Rogers aka Captain America walking off into the sunset as an old man. However, reports suggest that he might return for a small cameo, not as Captain America, but as an old Steve Rogers.

Wesley Snipes reprises his role as Blade in Deadpool and Wolverine. He first played the vampire hunter in 1998, and he returned to the role for Blade II (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004). He agreed to reprise his role in the Deadpool and Wolverine films after Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds called him.

“I didn’t think Marvel was interested in it, Disney was interested in it – also because they cast Mahershala for the next one coming out. I thought it didn’t make any sense to me, but [when] Wesley told Entertainment Weekly, “You suddenly get a call from Ryan Reynolds 20 years later, you’re like, ‘OK, I’ve got to take this call. Let’s see what it’s about.’ He told me the idea… He said ‘yes’ and ‘it’s possible.’ ‘If you’re in it, we’re in it.’ Here we are.”
