David Korenswet turns into the Man of Steel in the first official poster for Superman. On Monday, director James Gunn unveiled the motion poster of Superman on his Instagram account. James shared a motion poster of the film on his Instagram, which featured a spectacular musical score. It featured David Corenswet in his Superman costume, down to his red undies, in full swing. In the caption he wrote: “Look up. #Superman is in theaters only on July 11th.”
Responding to the post, many fans reacted enthusiastically in the comments. One fan wrote: “Listen to that score. Looks very promising. In another post, James Gunn revealed that the official trailer for Superman will debut on Thursday. Reacting to the announcement, one fan commented: “Hey, I’m crying right now!! Woke up to not only a poster but also a teaser!! Oh sweet baby Kryptonian gods! We’re winning! I’m getting chills!” The party will continue on Thursday!” Another said, “Can’t sleep until Thursday!”
The Warner Bros. DC film also stars Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult, who plays the infamous supervillain Lex Luthor. The ensemble cast includes Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabella Merced as Hawkgirl and others.
James shared the news of ending the shooting schedule for Superman on social media on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. In a heartfelt post on the micro-blogging site, he wrote, “And it’s over. God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity and hard work have brought this project to life. I set out to make a film about a good man in a world that isn’t always so good. And the goodness, kindness and love I encounter daily on set has inspired me and kept me going when I felt too spent to move forward on my own.”
This will be the first feature film after Gunn and Peter Safran became the new bosses of DC.
