Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti recently visited Kedarnath and wrote an emotional tribute for her brother. Shweta shared pictures of Sushant on her Instagram feed – in one picture he can be seen meditating and in another, he can be seen posing with a sadhu in Kedarnath. Shweta mentioned in her post that she meditated at the same spot where her brother’s picture was taken. Shweta also looked for the sadhu whom Sushant met in Kedarnath. After finding him, she also took a picture with the saint. Sharing the pictures, Shweta wrote, “It’s June 1 and four years ago on the 14th of this month we lost our dear Sushant. Even now, we are still searching for answers as to what happened on that tragic day.”
Shweta further added, “I came to Kedarnath to pray, remember and feel closer to Bhai. That day was incredibly emotional; as soon as I landed in Kedarnath, tears started rolling down my cheeks. I kept walking for a while, but eventually I had to sit down and cry my heart out, because I could feel his presence all around me. I had this intense desire to hug him. I sat down and meditated where he meditated, and in those moments, I felt he was still with me, within me, living through me. It was like he was never gone.”
Shweta ended her post with these words, “Yesterday there was no internet connection in Phata. Sitting in my car I opened Instagram and saw only one post in my feed: a picture of bhai with a sadhu in Kedarnath. I knew I had to meet that sadhu and by the grace of God I was able to meet him. On Sushant’s 38th birth anniversary, Shweta wrote an emotional post. She wrote, “Happy birthday to my Sona Sa bhai. Love you forever… from infinity to infinity. Hope you live on in millions of hearts and inspire them to do good and be good. Your legacy will reach millions of people whom you have inspired to be God-like and generous. May everyone understand that going towards God is the only way forward and be proud of you. 3…2…1 Happy Birthday to our guiding star, may you always shine and show us the way.” Take a look:
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai in June 2020. After his death, his (then) alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was taken to Mumbai’s Byculla jail in September 2020 on drug charges. She was accused of buying and supplying drugs to the late actor. The actress got bail after 28 days. For your information, let us tell you that Sushant also worked in Abhishek Kapoor’s film Kedarnath With which Sara Ali Khan made her debut in Bollywood.
