There is nothing compared to the Pitter-Patter of the rain, with the disappointment of the frog and the nature of the monsoon itself. But if you are a music Aficionado in search of the excuse of sinking your senses in the raga Malhar, then the rain may probably be your reliable sidekick. What? Do you not like Indian classical music? Jazz, again? Perhaps, some mainstream – a Bollywood Benger from the 90s, with a pelvic thrust by women wrapped in submerged chiffon saree?
In a country where advice and decision is cheaper, the recommendations of the song can be considered only in three ways – which, complete, perfect or emotional. ,
In cases as subjective as art, we will try to make the line of fairness (or minimize). So, there are four separate musicians who have composed songs about rain and here how the monsoon fuel its creative stream.

‘Indian monsoon’ by Tech Panda and Kenzani
Prerna came with the voice of the song, which is something like ‘Jhiri Jhiri Barre’. When it would rain in Delhi in mid -August, when I was a child, Tech Panda says. “The words celebrate and have captured the message of relief and the message of the explosion of new life which is synonymous with the Indian monsoon.” This was “a relief from relief and dust and increasing hopes and dreams and promises to celebrate tea and Pakodas.”

Anoushka Shankar and Karsh Kale ‘A Perfect Rain’
We initially worked on the song in 2006 when Anawasha Shankar and I were writing sketches for my album BreatheAt that time I was using an acoustic guitar and we were writing guitar and sitar compositions. So, one of them was the initial idea for ‘an ideal rain’. I was writing something in Raga Jog, which was then opened in a major raga in the chorus. The name ‘A Perfect Rain’ came in fact before being a singer. We were writing songs in Delhi and it was raining. The album itself was a therapy for Anoushka Shankar and Me because our lives were going through infections. I think, our partnership was based to help each other at the next place – this also represents the rainy season, blooming a new season.

From ‘Mazhe Thumzhay’ Pattam pole By M Jaichandran
Romance and drizzle – they always feel inseparable to me, such as the ragas gently interacted with a soft rock and two different styles. It is like a two mood meeting and some tender and timeless. For me, composing a sense of being in love, is one of the most beautiful forms of music, expression. Pattam pole Gave me a chance to find romance again in the rain. With Mazhay Thumzhay, I wanted to offer something new to the younger generation – a song where different music styles are originally mixed in a sense. My director gave me complete freedom to find out. Santosh Sharma wrote songs with delicate grace and Haricaran put his soul in every note. Similarly, Mazhe Thumzhe was born. It is a gentle rain of melody, love and freedom.

‘Rain da weather’ by Talwinder
Rain is my favorite season. There was a week when it was raining continuously. Rip wrote some lines and I remember that I went for a walk and heard the voice of Rip again and again as the rain continued. The Voice Note was the song of ‘Varsha da weather’. It was aggressive and deep. This is also the meaning of rain for me. We recorded the song, and even today we are tagging it with us and whenever it rains, playing it.
