Taapsee Pannu reacts to husband Matthias Boe’s retirement post: “Need to get back home to cook dinner”

New Delhi:

Taapsee Pannu, who will be attending the Paris Olympics 2024 with husband Mathias Boe apart from her promotional commitments, reacted to the Danish coach’s retirement announcement post. Mathias Boe announced his retirement after players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, who failed to win medals in the ongoing Olympics, were eliminated. He shared an emotional post, which read, “I know this feeling very well myself. Pushing yourself to the limit every day to be in the best shape of your life, and then things don’t go the way you expected. I know you guys are disappointed, I know how much you wanted to bring back a medal for India, but it couldn’t happen this time. But you have everything to be proud of, how hard you have worked in this Olympic camp, battling injuries, taking injections to ease the pain, that’s dedication, that’s passion and that’s a big heart. You have won so much in the past years and you are going to win a lot more in the future.”

Mathias Boe added, “For me, my coaching days end here, I am not going to India or anywhere else at least for now. I have spent too much time in the badminton hall and being a coach is too stressful, I am a tired old man. I would like to thank @media.iccsai, Garg Sir and Rakesh Sir, @bai_media, @gosportsvoices for the support over the years. Also a big thank you to all my colleagues in Indian badminton. Thank you for so many good memories and I wish you all the best. Jai Hind.” On this post, Taapsee Pannu made a funny comment that caught the attention of the internet. Taapsee wrote, “But now you are married. You need to take a step back. I have to come home from work every day and prepare dinner and clean up. So hurry up!” Check out the post here:

Taapsee Pannu had a great time in Paris with sister Shagun Pannu and husband Mathias Boe. She ended her Paris diaries with a note that read, “What a wonderful day it was at the Olympics. And how much fun it was to watch the games before leaving Paris. It was truly an experience of a lifetime to watch the games for almost a week in Paris. Now I am going back to work as my hard work of almost 2 years is soon paying off. Back to being Haseen Ban Gayi Hoon Jo Khel Khel Karti Hai! Signing out.” Take a look:
