New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu is one actress who is never afraid to speak her mind. Recently, the Haseen Dillruba actress made a statement that once again grabbed everyone’s attention. She has often addressed the nepotism debate and admitted that star kids have taken her place in the industry. Once again, she spoke about the new kids in the industry and revealed that she has learned this one thing from them.
Taapsee revealed in her recent interview to a vendor that she has learnt unity from star kids. She said that she has seen how these star kids never say anything against each other and they have a very strong unity.
Speaking to ANI, Taapsee said, “This is a different opinion from a lot of other people. One thing that is good about people who have their parents or siblings or any other family member in the industry, the so-called nepotism people or people who they say have come into the industry through nepotism, one very good thing I have learnt from them is to stick together, stay together and support each other. A lot of us, who are from the outside, don’t have as much as they have for each other”.
Taapsee says that outsiders feel insecure with each other.
Elaborating further on not having the unity that star kids have, he said, “We are so used to struggling, running around and competing to outdo each other. We have respect for each other, we send each other messages when we watch each other’s films. But that if it’s a good film or a bad film, standing by that person… that wali jo vibe hai na (that vibe), that’s more in the industry kids than we outsiders. Sometimes, deep inside, we feel insecure about each other. It’s more than the industry kids. Because, as I said, mentality hi ban gayi hai hai competition ka (our mindset is built around competition). But the unity that I have seen… that they will recommend each other or stand by each other or be there for each other… in my personal experience, I have seen that they have more than us. And that’s one thing, if not the other, that we can learn from them in the best way.”
Taapsee Pannu was recently seen in Haseen Dillruba again alongside Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. She was also in Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein.
