Tabu, who has made her 10th film with Ajay Devgan Where was the strength in others, Recalling the days of shooting for Virasat in a recent interview ZoomTabu revealed that director Priyadarshan wanted her hair to be oily for the character. Tabu told Zoom, “Priyadarshan (Priyadarshan) wanted my hair to be oily and have a village look. So, the hairstylist told me to take some gel and apply it to make it look oily. When I went to the set, he said, ‘I told you to apply oil.’ I said, ‘Yes, a little. There’s going to be a nice shine.’ So he let it go and then came back from behind with a bottle of coconut oil and poured all the oil on my head.”
Tabu further said, “What I mean is that your hair should be oiled,” he said. But it was very easy for me back then. I didn’t have to do any hairstyle. I would get ready in five minutes. Long hair, oiling, braiding and going to the set.” Let us tell you that Virasat is a remake of the Tamil film Thevar Magan. The film starred Anil Kapoor, Tabu and Pooja Batra in lead roles. Tabu played the role of a village woman named Gehna.
Tabu is currently busy promoting her film ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’. However, the release of the film has been postponed and it is reported that it will release in the second week of this month. Sharing the trailer, Tabu wrote, “Fantastic. Powerful. Unforgettable! The trailer of Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha is out!” Watch:
Ajay Devgn and Tabu have worked together in many films. These actors have worked together in films like Golmaal Again, De De Pyar De, Vijaypath, Haqeeqat, Vijaypath, Takshak, Bhola and the Drishyam series. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha also stars Jimmy Shergill, Sai Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari.
