Tabu seen for the first time in the new teaser of ‘Dune: Prophecy’ prequel series

fans of Dune The franchise was thrilled to get a glimpse of Tabu in the latest teaser of the much-awaited prequel series Dune: The Prophecy,

Set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, the series is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. Dune universe. It focuses on the Harkonnen sisters, Valya and Tula, portrayed by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams, respectively. These sisters are determined to protect humanity from growing threats while laying the groundwork for the Bene Gesserit, an influential female order with remarkable abilities.

Tabu plays Sister Francesca and is described as, “Strong, intelligent and charming, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression behind. Once the great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace upsets the balance of power in the capital.” Her fleeting appearance in the trailer has created quite a buzz among fans.

The new teaser begins with the voices of the senior sisters instructing the newcomers about the importance of mastering self-control before attempting to influence the Great Houses. They emphasize the importance of their influence and warn that with greater power also comes greater adversaries. The Queen is seen warning the Emperor about the sisters’ growing influence, while the Bene Gesserit remain steadfast in their mission to consolidate their power.

Dune: The ProphecyInspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune Written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, the series also stars Jodhi May as Empress Natalya. The series also features a talented cast including Travis Fimmel, Sarah-Sophie Bosnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Aoife Hinds, Chloe Lee, and Faoilan Cunningham.

Diane Ademu-John, the series’ creator and executive producer, was initially set to co-showrun before stepping down in 2022, while Alison Schapker will take over as sole showrunner and executive producer. The series is directed by Anna Foster, John Cameron, and Richard J. Lewis, and produced in association with Max and Legendary TV, with an impressive lineup of executive producers and co-producers on both sides. Dune The Franchise and the Frank Herbert Estate.
