Mumbai: After Vijay Varma shared the poster of his upcoming film ‘Matka King’, his girlfriend and actress Tamannaah Bhatia couldn’t stop herself from praising him. Tamannaah re-shared Vijay’s post on her Instagram story and wrote, “Uff with a fire emoji.”
Vijay responded lovingly to her reaction and wrote “baby” on his Insta story.
Tamannaah and Vijay’s relationship rumours started after an alleged kissing video of them from New Year 2023 went viral on the internet. The couple was also seen romancing in ‘Lust Stories 2’.
After months of speculations about the two actors dating each other, Tamannaah confirmed her relationship with Vijay in an interview in June last year. Since then, they have frequently commented on each other’s social media posts and made public appearances together.
Talking about Vijay’s film, the shooting of the series ‘Matka King’ has started.

The makers have also released a new poster of the show. Vijay is seen sporting a moustache in the poster.
The official synopsis of ‘Matka King’ states, “It is a fictional story set in 1960s Mumbai, where an enterprising cotton merchant seeking legitimacy and respect launches a new gambling game called ‘Matka’.
The game takes the city by storm, and democratizes an area previously reserved for the rich and the elite.” The series also stars Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, Gulshan Grover and Siddharth Jadhav in pivotal roles.
Talking about Tamanna’s work front, she will be seen in ‘Veda’. This film will be released in theaters on Independence Day i.e. 15th August.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arora, ‘Veda’ is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham and co-produced by Meenakshi Das. The film also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia.
