Chennai: The makers of director Ashok Teja eagerly waited for the supernatural thriller, ‘Odella 2’, in which actress Tamannaah Bhatia announced on Saturday in the lead role that the film would hit the world worldwide on 17 April this year.
To take into his social media handle, one of the creators of the film Sampat Nandi Teamworks announced, “When Darkness Rains and Hope Feeds, ‘Shiva Shakti’ Awakens.
The film has triggered great expectations as it is the second installment of ‘Odella’ franchise, whose first installment was the title of ‘Odella railway station’. The franchise is made in the lead by Sampat Nandi and Tamannaah Bhatia in the sequel. Produced by D Madhu under the direction of Ashok Teja, the film features music by Ajnesh Lokeath and cinematography by sounder Rajan.
The art instructions for the film are by Rajiv Nair.
A teaser released by the manufacturers revealed that ‘Odella 2’ would revolve around the subject of the divine carrying on dark forces.
The teaser, which is devoid of any dialogue, saves one, reflects a fleeing and spine-chilling struggle between divine and darkness.
The teaser of the film has a tagline that says that ‘when the Satan returns the base, the divine also returns.’ The teaser has a dialogue that is spoken by dark power.
