Tanya Maniktala always talks openly about her professional life. Tanya has worked with Vijay Sethupathi in the film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat’. Mumbaikartold about her first meeting with the actor. ZoomShe said, “I remember the first day, when I was shooting, Vijay sir came on the set, it was the night shift and we were shooting outdoors. I was about to finish my work when suddenly there were a lot of people who appeared out of thin air and I was called by Santosh sir (director) to introduce me to someone. I could feel the excitement and bustle in the air but I didn’t know what was happening and then I saw him. Smiling, his brilliant smile and his eyes fixed on the person he was talking to.”
Tanya Maniktala also revealed that she had goosebumps when she met Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. She said, “I had goosebumps when I met Vijay sir for the first time. His humility, his charm, his simplicity. I was amazed! And then the action happened and there he was! Everything changed in a second. It was fantastic! I felt like I had watched a movie in those few minutes. He is a master of his craft and it was thrilling to experience it in person. It’s the kind of vision you imagine for yourself.”
Tanya Maniktala played the role of Ishita Mumbaikar. The film, which is scheduled to release in 2023, is directed by Santosh Sivan. Apart from Tanya Maniktala and Vijay Sethupathi, it also stars Mumbaikar It also stars Vikrant Massey and Hridu Haroon in pivotal roles.
In the same conversation, Tanya Maniktala also spoke about how it was working with the cast in the film. Mumbaikar It was a “pink moment” for her. She said, “I was working with Santosh Sivan sir, Vijay Sethupathi, Vikrant Massey and Sanjay Mishra sir… I had been watching and admiring their work since then and now working with them was a “pink moment” for me.”
