Taylor Swift almost got involved in Blake Lively’s legal suit against her ‘It End’s With Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni. In a surprising twist, the actress found out that her best friend of a decade was allegedly involved in some way and narrowly escaped having a bad relationship with her. Last week the Gossip Girl actor filed a lawsuit against Baldoni where she accused him of sexual harassment and running a smear campaign against her.

Claims against Swift in the lawsuit
The New York Times published an exposé on December 20 revealing allegations of scandalous actions against Lively that were allegedly organized by Baldoni and his associates. The legal paperwork reportedly suggested that Swift was specifically mentioned in a “scenario planning document” created by Baldoni’s PR team at TAG PR, which was managed by crisis communications specialist Melissa Nathan.
“The scenario planning document states that TAGs may also explore ‘fabricating stories about the weaponization of feminism and how people are complicit in it,'” the official complaint said. [Lively’s] Groups like Taylor Swift have been accused of using these tactics to ‘bully’ to get what they want, the Daily Express US reports.
However, Baldoni’s lawyers have strongly denied the allegations and called the lawsuit “shameful” and the allegations “patently false allegations.”

PR worried about Swift’s impact
Legal documents revealed that Baldoni was “not in love” with the plan suggested by the PR team and did not feel safe. Thus he took his concerns to another public relations executive and the film’s studio producer.
The document also included texts where Nathan allegedly mentioned Lively’s celebrity relationship with Swift. It reads, “We have seen that the most innocuous issues become bigger social causes or the biggest crisis has no social impact at all – you can’t tell at this stage. But, [Lively] is some of [Swift] fanbase, so we will take this very seriously.
Nathan reassured Baldoni that plans would be carefully drawn up taking into account Swift’s influence. Meanwhile, a significant shareholder of TAG PR is linked to Scooter Braun, who previously made headlines for acquiring the Songs of Bland Space singer, worth around $300 million.
