Taylor Swift defends Gaga on TikTok amid pregnancy rumors: ‘She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation’

Lady Gaga, just a few hours ago, got caught in the vortex of her pregnancy rumors. Gaga’s fans guessed from the pictures of her latest look that the singer is wearing a baby bump. The rumor of Gaga expecting her first child with her boyfriend Michael Polansky spread like wildfire on media platforms. Soon after the rumors spread, the Rain On Me singer dismissed all the rumors with the help of a song from Taylor Swift’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department. In a recent update, Taylor condemned fans for spreading false rumors through a comment on Gaga’s TikTok video.

Taylor came forward to defend her fellow music industry peer from all the fake news. Taylor commented on Gaga’s video the previous day. The folklore musician wrote, “Can we all agree that commenting on a woman’s body is offensive and irresponsible.” She further added, “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and neither does any woman,” on June 5 (Wednesday).

The TikTok video was posted by Gaga in response to all the pregnancy rumors. In the video, the Poker Face singer showed off and read “Not pregnant – just crying badly at the gym” referencing Swift’s Billboard Top 100 song “Down Bad.”

There are plenty of pregnancy rumors online about Taylor

Some time ago, Taylor was also embroiled in similar pregnancy rumours when fans tried to identify signs of a baby in her belly while she was on The European Eras Tour. Fans scoured the tour photos to get some clues about the singer’s pregnancy. The Anti Hero singer mentioned in her Netflix documentary Miss Americana how these speculations have negatively impacted her body image and mental health.

Earlier, Gaga commented on Taylor’s video, which was a clip from the documentary in which she talked about her eating habits. “It’s really brave what you said, wow,” Gaga wrote.
