Taylor Swift, who rose to fame with the band during their peak, is said to be deeply saddened by his death. The two were on friendly terms and a source revealed that she is planning to honor him during the last leg of her Eraaz Tour.
Taylor Swift is ‘planning a tribute’ to Liam Payne
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Swift, who loved Liam deeply, is “devastated” by the news and is planning to pay tribute to the late singer during the opening night of the final leg of her Erasure Tour. An insider told the outlet, ‘She’s really sad about this because she came up with those guys and she loved Liam so much.’ He further added, ‘He always treated her well.’

Pictures show fans gathering near the hotel in Argentina, mourning the shocking loss which has shocked fans and the music industry as a whole. The tragedy comes as a surprise, especially since Payne was in Argentina to support his former bandmate Niall Horan.
“Based on what the team saw, he had a fractured skull and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death,” said Alberto Crescenti, head of Buenos Aires emergency services.
Taylor Swift and Liam Payne’s friendship
At one point, Taylor Swift was dating Harry Styles, who was a member of One Direction along with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. Taylor Swift to enter final leg of Eras Tour
Swift is nearing the end of her commercially successful Erasure Tour, which spanned various countries and territories. As she concludes this tour, she will also step into her writing career with the release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Book On 29 November 2024.
In an Instagram post on October 15, he expressed his feelings about the tour, saying, “We start the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to understand. This tour has been the most amazing experience, and I knew I wanted to remember the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually.”
With 18 more shows remaining, the Eraz show will begin in Miami and continue at the Indianapolis and New Orleans locations. The tour will continue to thrill audiences until its grand finale in Vancouver on December 8.
