In a cheeky Instagram post, Taylor Swift expressed her support for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman ahead of the film’s release. deadpool and wolverineOn July 25, just a day before the release of the highly-anticipated film, Swift shared her excitement and some fun tidbits about the movie via her Stories.
In her post, the pop sensation — who is a close friend of Reynolds and his wife, actress Blake Lively — gushes over us with her praise.
“Over the last few years I’ve watched one of my best friends on the planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this movie. He’s done the best work of his life, and this movie feels like a true happiness portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it.” Swift ended the tribute with a twist, “But that’s just Hugh for you!”

The post was accompanied by a group photo of Hugh Jackman, whom she described as one of her “best friends,” along with director Shawn Levy, Lively, and Reynolds. Swift joked, “These other people interrupted the photo and we were very polite about asking them to leave,” referencing Reynolds and Lively’s presence.
Swift referenced her friendship with the Hollywood power couple at the end of her message, saying, “Salute to Wade Wilson, aka my godkid’s sperm donor!” She also included a link for fans to purchase tickets, urging fans not to miss out on seeing the film.
Despite rumors of Swift’s cameo as a potential Lady Deadpool, Reynolds dismissed the rumors. e News Swift will not appear in the film.
