In fact, Swift’s decision to sit with Travis Kelce’s mom was just a friendly gesture and had nothing to do with Mahomes.
There is no animosity between Taylor and Britney
A source told the Daily Mail that “Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes spent time together after the game and they are still friends,” putting to rest rumors of a rift between the two women. “Taylor was only sitting with Travis’ mom because she wanted to spend time with her,” they added, adding that the separate rooms had nothing to do with Mahomes or any potential feud.

Last month, Brittany Mahomes faced criticism for her political stance when she liked and commented on an Instagram post praising former President Donald Trump and his ideologies. Later, the Republican candidate thanked Mahomes for her support on his Truth social. Meanwhile, as America awaits Taylor Swift’s endorsement, Swifties worry that Mahomes’ actions could create the perception that Swift is indirectly supporting Trump, which could potentially influence the election.
Swift and Mahomes have developed a close relationship since the Cruel Summer singer began attending NFL matches. As a result, many fans urged Swift to keep her distance from Mahomes during games to avoid any political associations.
Taylor Swift-Travis Kelsey enjoy party with Mahomes
Following the Chiefs’ season-opening win over the Baltimore Ravens, Travis Kelce reportedly hosted an intimate party at one of his favorite Kansas City restaurants with Taylor Swift in attendance. According to Page Six, the celebration was a low-key affair, with little to no social media presence.
In addition to Kelce, the party was also attended by his close friend Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. While it is unclear if Mahomes’ wife Brittany was present, wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. was also spotted at the event. It was also reported that Mecole Hardman’s fiancée Charia Gordon, who was spotted in the suites with Swift, was also present at the event.

Regarding Brittany’s relationships with others on the team, the insider said, “Brittany is on good terms with Patrick, his friends and the other players.” They stressed that Patrick is still a beloved figure in the NFL, and as long as he continues to win, he will be fine regardless of his “family’s actions — whether it’s Brittany, her brother or her father.”
In a statement to the Mail, the source said, “Nobody will go against Britney because she gives a lot of access and nobody wants any trouble with Patrick.”
